Upcoming EB- 5 Course at Baruch College this Summer 2015

Want to come to New York City this summer 2015 to learn about EB - 5? Baruch College will be offering a 4 session course "How EB-5 Programs Can Help Real Estate Projects," to be taught by Monah Shah, Esq., published author and principal of Mona Shah and Associates.  This course gives a general overview of alternative financing through EB-5. There will be high profile guest speakers including developers, bankers and politicians.

The following topics will be discussed in each class.

Session One
  • Overview of EB-5
  • The three types of EB-5 projects; advantages and disadvantages of Direct vs Regional Center Projects
  • How the practice has impacted regulatory history
Session Two
  • What are the legal requirements and challenges of EB-5?
  • Job Creation & Economic Studies
Session Three
  • How to evaluate the market analysis and feasibility study of a project
  • How projects around the US work?
Session Four
  • Raising capital, escrow issues and marketing
  • U.S. Securities and Exchange Commissions (SEC) Issues
Classes will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:00 PM- 8:50 PM 
The class fee for NCPEL85 will be &250 (Course Materials will be provided).
